About the NetBeans Installer Project
NetBeans Installer is a new project initiated by the NetBeans Enterprise Pack installer team. The NetBeans installer provides an enhanced experience for users who install the NetBeans IDE and accompanying components. Another goal is to provide the community with a stable, robust installer engine that can be used to install applications developed using the NetBeans IDE.

Go to http://bits.nbextras.org to download the latest nightly NetBeans 6.0 builds.
Note: These builds are is in the early stage of development and are not recommended for use in a production environment. This release is meant only to preview the functionality and collect user feedback.

If you encounter a problem when using the NetBeans installer or want to request an enhancement, file an issue in the NetBeans bug tracking system, IssueZilla, at http://www.netbeans.org/issues.
